A degree is no longer enough
Students who know, companies that need, and universities that connect. The problem isn't the talent — it's that no one can see it.
Students
of graduates cannot demonstrate concrete skills beyond their degree when looking for their first job.
Companies
of companies in Latin America confirm that new graduates aren't ready to take on real projects from day one.
Universities
Institutions train talent with no visibility into which skills the market valued or how their graduates actually performed.
Real challenges. Visible talent. Certification that counts.
Companies propose a real problem. Students solve it. The university and the company certify it together. That's how the first dual-signature badge in Latin America is born.
The company posts a challenge
A real business problem open to students from any connected university. The company defines the context, deliverables and skills it wants to discover.
Interdisciplinary teams solve it
Students from different degree programs and universities apply and collaborate. The platform forms teams based on profile, skills and availability.
Company and university co-certify
The company evaluates the deliverable. The university endorses it academically. The student receives a verifiable Digital Badge on their profile — real evidence of what they can do.
Universities, companies and students. Triple impact.
JobPlace Challenges connects the three actors of the labor market around the same challenge. Value flows in every direction.

Building Latin America's employability ecosystem
JobPlace already connects universities and companies through its internship management platform. These are the goals we set for the first year of JobPlace Challenges — the next step toward employability that's demonstrated, not just declared.
One platform. Three roles. One single flow.
As a university you coordinate the ecosystem: signing agreements with companies and giving your students visibility into their openings — without duplicating work.
The academic coordinator validates the agreement with your company. From there you post openings freely and students enabled by their university apply directly.
Every actor plays a role: your university signs agreements with companies, those companies post their openings, and you apply with one click — no paperwork.

Create my accountWhat we usually clear up before getting started.
Do I need to replace my current academic system?
No. JobPlace covers the internship flow independently. If your university has a SIS, we can integrate degree programs and students via import or API.
How are companies and agreements added?
Companies are invited by email from within the platform itself. Agreements are uploaded as a PDF document and versioned through the coordinator's approval flow.
What happens to my students' data?
Your university owns its data. We offer a full export at any time and comply with academic data protection guidelines.
How long does implementation take?
Basic onboarding takes less than a week: loading degree programs and staff, configuring roles, and inviting the first pilot companies.
Can I give different permissions to each coordinator?
Yes. JobPlace supports differentiated roles (university admin, degree program coordinator, university staff) with fine-grained permissions by program or school.
Does it cost anything to post openings as a company?
No. Posting openings and receiving applications has no cost for the company.
How do I connect with a university?
From within the platform you send a connection request to the university you're interested in. The coordinator approves it and posting openings for its students is enabled.
Can I post the same opening to multiple universities?
Yes. The same opening becomes automatically visible to students at every university you have a signed agreement with, without duplicating the listing.
Are applicants pre-filtered?
Yes. You filter by degree program, year, campus and mode. You only receive applications from students their university has authorized to do an internship.
How is the internship agreement signed?
It's uploaded and signed inside the platform. Both the company and the university version the document, and every signature is auditable.
Does it cost anything to use JobPlace as a student?
No. Applying to openings, getting interviews and submitting your reports is free for every student at universities connected to JobPlace.
Is my university on JobPlace?
If your university coordinates internships with JobPlace, you can connect using your institutional email. If it doesn't show up, write to us and we'll add it to the network.
Are the openings real?
Yes. Only openings from companies with a signed agreement with your university appear — the coordinator validates that agreement, so you only apply to active, backed positions.
How do I prepare for an interview?
You get a confirmation with date, time, mode (in person or online) and the interviewer's contact details. Everything stays recorded in your account.
Do I need to install anything or fill out spreadsheets?
No. Everything is online — from applying to your weekly reports. It works from your computer or phone with no apps to download.
